From here we start with a climb upto the Plateau du Kirk, a steep climb upto the limestone escarpment - offering amazing views at the top. From here we carry on to the Berber villages and then have a lovely descent through the fields and the oak and juniper forest of the sacred site of Moulay Brahim. The town is a pilgrimage site, attracting visitors who come to pay their respects at the mausoleum of Moulay Brahim. The area is also known for its traditional Berber culture, with local markets and crafts providing a glimpse into the daily life of the region's inhabitants. Carrying onward we cycle to the valley of Ouirgane in the heart of the Toubkal National Park.

Day 3 - Ljoukak to Ouled Berhil - 54 miles - 4875ft of elevation. We start the day with a big breakfast to prepare us for a day of climbing! Depending on rider fitness and energy we may begin with a  short transfer to ljoukak a quiet Berber village nestled in the Nfiss Valley. We pass the 12th century Timnal mosque. Sadly it has been partially destroyed during earthquakes.  From there we will start the epic ride across the famous Tizi n Test Pass with panoramic views over the Souss Valley. We then wind down the high Atlas to the Southern plains towards the Sahara. The views are spectacular on either side until you reach Olad Berhill. From here we will have a short transfer to avoid the very busy road into Tarouddant where we will stay for the night. Today has the most elevation of the three days. however it is long and winding climbs to plod through rather than steep and punchy!

Day 5 - Azrarag - Agadir  - Today we head to the Coast! After a leisurely breakfast, we set out on a short cycle to Agadir. Today's ride is approx 15 miles long - so only a short cycle, but this allows us to see Agadir in the afternoon. The ride takes us through the countryside past Tighanimine - renowned for its women-owned cooperative, Tighanimine El Baz, established in 2006, which specialises in producing organic, fair trade-certified argan oil. The cooperative supports local Berber women, providing income and education in a region with limited employment opportunities. It is a key producer in the Drarga district. We then join the hustle and bustle of Agadir. You need your wits about you for this section, but the crew van will be there if you want to hop in instead.
